All in all, a fun run.  Combat shotgun made Hell's Arena trivial, rocket launcher from Hell's Arena got me two accuracy mods for a chaingun I used for a long while, rocket launcher also made The Wall trivial, missile launcher is a really fun weapon (though I do miss advanced weapons).  Hellgate truly scared me at first.  It was a very exciting boss fight, very atmospheric, and very interesting.

12 damage 8 shot plasma rifle is... ridiculous.  Then throw in the utter lack of ammo requirement, and you have something that is decidedly overpowered.

The Halls of Carnage is only slightly riskier than I remember it being, given the unavoidable lava bath does 10 damage a step!  But, it's still absolutely worth the BFG9000 and the free 200% hp and the edging experience and shotgun ammo.  Spider's Lair was doable thanks to the missile launcher and the AI's slow reaction time, which allowed me to get out of range fast enough to not even activate their movement and just spam missiles from very far away.  Probably one of the last  I got enough plasma from that and from the chained court to take on the Mortuary.  I fired TEN BFG shots in that damn hall, just barely killing every Vile and destroying enough corpses to significantly reduce the corpse count.  Got the angelic armor and the nuclear (no more advanced weapons, it seems!) BFG (not that useful since it doesn't ammo regen on secondary or in inventory).  I still think the Mortuary's nowhere near worth it, though if the nuclear BFG did regenerate ammo in the inventory, it would be much more valuable. 

Grab the angelic armor, go down the stairs, grab the Onyx mod pack, and then fail to even consider the possibility of modding the Angelic Armor.  Two seconds after throwing it on a red, I felt so stupid that it hurt.

I got lucky in that I encountered a grand total of a single mancubus and but two revenants, my two least favorite enemies, and I also encountered no Viles outside of the Mortuary.  Lots of Arachnotrons, though, which gave my missile launcher a fair bit of use (and the plasma to fill my BFG twice!).

All in all, a fun run.  I must say, though, that if I get past The Wall, I've won the game (barring instantly dying or terminal stupidity).  Early game is incredibly difficult for me; mid-game gets a bit easier, and then the last 5 floors of hell are just smooth sailing unless I hit a particularly nasty situation.  I ended up using 6ish large medpacks against Cybie just because I had so many, and using one a turn didn't really matter.  It may be the perk combination I used that caused that, but I noticed similar issues in AoM and AoB (at least, in 0.9.8.9, don't know about now).  Perhaps I need to try different perks.  Any comments or advice?

And one last thing, I hit Cybie with 2 BFG shots, and... didn't do very much damage.  I wish that the BFG did tons more damage up close, since I was in his face for one of the shots (before being flung back by a rocket, anyway).  In the actual doom, the BFG9000 behaves more like a shotgun than anything.  But now, it's just not that good against single targets.  =(

Nice run :) 

I see you have used the BFG quite extensively in this game.(personally I think it is a weapon used for splash damage, so i usually use it on groups of enemies rather than on cybie but thats personal taste:) ) Congrats on the mortuary by the way, I rarely ever bother doing that level. About the Angelic armour, there is no need to feel bad about it, it is not moddable in the current version
