So I think a DoomRL deathmatch would be very useful to settle down all sort of unsettled things on life. Here's what I propose

* Different Arena levels
* 2 to 4 players may play
* They could play on the same computer, networking may be in the future, or not at all.
* You move turn by turn, you get a maximum of 3 seconds to make your move, else you pass. This may make the game a bit slow, but think of it as a quick bloody chess
* All kind of stuff from FPS deathmatching could be grabbed, like team battles, grab the flag, etc. (I dont know much about FPSs, so somebody may dive further on it) but for the first version, just let me fry my girlfriend to decide what movie we will watch!
* Items could be marked and used with a single key (this could be applied to the main game mode too) As you pick an item it is shown on your on-map inventory and marked with a key. if you press that key you either Use it or Equip it.

/ Change tactic
* Prev Weapon
- Next Weapon
+ Inventory (from there you can use and equip)
5 Fire
0 Reload
. Get

duh... why player 2 layout? It's turn based - you just have to pass the keyboard :P

If anyone here has played T-O-M-E net (Online version of TOME) then I'm thinking something like that..Only more quakelike.
