really? =o this may be kind of late, but im a huge rouge like fan, and a game programmer as well, i may not know the code but id love to help beta test, as im such a fan of both rougelikes and Diablo.

I believe DiabloRL is open sourced.  However, the maintainer is still Kornel.

Overall the Linux version seems okay, but I think we need to look into these:

1. High ASCII avoidance option should be needed at least for the Linux version.
2. Escape key needs to be entered twice for anything that allows it.
3. The screen doesn't redraw itself when the terminal is resized.

That's all I have for now.  But bear in mind I'm no super beta-tester for DiabloRL.  >.>

I suspect the terminal emulator considers Escape an escape key. Shocking, eh?
