DiabloRL Beta Testers needed!

@Kornel: there's still an unresolved issue with 32bit compiled Linux version. 64bit works as it should, but 32bit has a nasty bug that makes it unplayable. I've tried recompiling a couple of times, and I grabbed a new checkout of the code and it didn't help.

Okay, I've managed to download the sources and compile also. Lemme help in trying to get this one sorted out... will do extensive testing in a couple of days when work is on a lower load level for me.

The version that needed beta testing has actually been released now! But it still needs testing. Please feel free to download it and play a few games and let us know what you think.

Is it just me, or did this latest version break the sound functionality? I downloaded an earlier release within the forum and suddenly those extracted sounds worked... not sure if there were differences in the game itself. Being able to play with sound is such amazing fun that I'd love to do some testing over the holidays with it working again.
Edit: FYI, the download link for the version with sound on diablo.chaosforge.org/downloads includes the dlls and sound extraction utility, but I believe the .exe packed with both versions are identical. They are 677k, while the one I got from the user "you" off the third or fourth page of this thread has functional sound, and it weighs in at 1.85mb. Both .exes are marked version 0.4.5.3.
