Graven moves ignoring a hobgoblin dying to Rah's attack and next to two others. He slams his maul into the ground and floor around him shatters as spikes of rock burst from within. Sadly hobgoblins are nimble enough to avoid them.

- "Determining appropiate response: Shit."

As Rah prepares to attack, one of the Hobgoblins full on drops his sword. Nothing stops Rah from ripping him limb from limb! The other Hobgoblin dances out of the way of Rah's first attack, but quickly perishes to his follow up, further cementing Rah as the only reliable Hobgoblin killer in the Inn.

The Goblin Blackblade called in as reinforcements scuttles under the table he's behind and over towards the far wall, throwing his torch at the back table where the gamblers are. He misses hitting them at this distance, but the torch still manages to set the table alight.

Graven wanders over and misses yet again, but at least pulls up the power of the Earth to stop any enemies from fleeing from him...not that they were trying.

Norian gives a giant grin and tells the peasant "Yeah. Clerics are trained a little differently, but that is still the power of Pelor at work!" Suddenly, the goblin reinforcements bust through "What! Curses!" Norian turns to the peasant, "Don't worry, we'll try to keep you safe." With that, He quickly slides over next to the peasant and looks up to the heavens. "Oh Pelor, god of the sun, may your fury bring pain upon this fowl creature! SACRED FLAME!" A bright light starts to shine on the Hobgoblin.

No sooner had he cast his spell, did Rah rush by him, nearly knocking him over. Turning around he saw the crumpled heap of a goblin that had sneaked up behind him. "You have my gratitude..." he said. Along the back wall he noticed another goblin sneaking along. With a few steps to the right, Adis began reciting an incantation. The air at the tip of his staff began to chill once more as a ray of white light lanced forth.

Norian's pride swells from the compliment and (amazingly) he doesn't choke and not kill the Hobgoblin. That's two for the humble cleric!

Adis follows that up with a chilling effect blast that chills the Goblin Blackblade's bones. He's still got a bit of fight in him, though.

Karan turned towards the last remaining foe, and rushed to him, trying to land a blow at the end of the charge. Her moves, however, were considerably less fluid than before- apparently, the fight was beginning to strain her. And so the nimble goblin managed to elude the swing with ease.

Karan, imbued with divine power from her might aspect, flows over the battlefield gracefully, at least making sure the Goblin can't get away without an attack of opportunity.

The Barman, seeing the fight going well, continues to pull the customer along and they both manage to douse the fire before it can spread further. The gamblers have had enough for the night, and flee - leaving a scant couple of coins on the table from their early effort to stow them away.

Rah's fury abate slightly, but his ability to put the hurt on the enemy still continues to amaze. The Goblin reels from the attack, but still remains standing even with blood dripping from his wounds.

The Blackblade flails helplessly in the direction of Karan with it's Short Sword, but fails to do anything useful to save its life.

The construct spots the last enemy and moves next to Karan kicking a chair out of his path as he goes and brings his hammer down on the goblin, this time connecting with the blow.

The Hobgoblin attack finishes as surprisingly as it began...with Graven actually hitting something. The Blackblade gurgles and shudders once more, and quiet is restored. You barely finish putting out the last fire when a proud member of the Brindol Guard shows up. After briefly looking around, he pulls your group outside the bar to...chat.

The man is slightly overweight, and doesn't look like he's had too much experience in the fighting trade, but he manages to hold himself upright while faced with you five, bloodied as you are. So that's something for him at least. He takes a deep breath and speaks.

"What the hell was that!? You lot had better not be involved in this whole hubbub, because there's a whole rank and file of Guard heading this way right now. You've got two, maybe three minutes to convince me you didn't do any of this stuff, and I'll try to talk them down when they get here."

- "Good sir, we were sitting here peacefully when these goblins here" - Graven points towards nearest corpse - "Barged in killing people, trying to set the place on fire, and screaming something about 'the Hand'. If you don't believe us I think you can ask the owner of this inn..."

Karan appeared to be really exhausted after the fight, barely able to lift her blade. Panting heavily, she left the inn, but when the guard begun his questioning, she simply sat down, sticking her sword into the ground in front of her, leaning against it and resting. She was not even trying to hide her disdain and disrespect for the fat idiot.

Norian sees Karan leave, and then turns back to the guard. He decides to try and help out.

"Um, Well, if it helps, we're on our way to conduct some official buisness, involving the troubles out in the western mountains." Norian fumbles around a bit and pulls out the summons. "We were on our way to the west, when we decided to stop by and rest, after a while, the goblins popped out and started attacking us, though we repelled them. So, we were not involved, except in defending ourselves."
