Nonetheless I found a way to fix this problem.

The reason why the in game screen is significantly offset is because the posted above image is significantly larger in width and height than the original image.

To fix the issue set this image to a size of 320x126. This fixes the issue.

Quite the necro. I apologize, and thanks for the fix! I'll have a look as I liked the smoothness of the font otherwise.
