The Master and the Minion - IC Thread
Gargulec:
Tristan slowly shook his head in surprise.
'So... you're not taking it for petty, despicable gain' he paused, his voice softened. 'I think... I believe that I can understand. Well then, keep it. But just promise, please, that one day, you will lay this helmet to a proper grave so this man, despite all of his vile acts will not be forgotten. Please, just please.'
'And you, drow, if you value your fingers, you better keep them off the armor' he added, turning towards Ryltar.
Madtrixr:
"Thank you my friend." Aden bows.
"Of course, we now have the issue of the rest. I no longer have an active interest in it. if the rest wish to keep it, it's up to them." Aden then goes over next to Ma'kirr, sits down, takes out the helmet and looks carefully over it for any clues about his grandfathers helmet. He notices Ma'kirr staring with annoyance at the rest of the group "Ma'kirr. Calm. You're a monk, I thought they trained you in ways to block out the rest of the word in order to achieve balance." He then keeps looking at the Castellans helmet.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)History Check (1d20+8=16) I probably should have taken an insight or perception check, but whatever.
Malek Deneith:
- "I already said I have no need for this pile of metal. But if you think I'll leave something actually valuable, should some new enemy we kill have it, then you better start preparing for breathing through more than one hole"
Gargulec:
'This is enough, drow.' said Tristan. 'One more such idle threat, and we will see how well can you fare in fair combat.'
S.K. Ren:
Ma'kirr laughed at Aden's remark. "You make it sound as if all monk are the same. Monks are martial warriors that follow an ideal and unify under Orders. There are many many Orders in the world. Mine follows two concepts. Being centered -which is not the same as being balanced- and absolute freedom. You can do, act, talk, feel, go wherever and however you wish and at the end of the day, it all comes down to you and how you want to go through life. As long as you don't skew your judgment, the Order accepts decisions you make."
