The Master and the Minion - IC Thread
Madtrixr:
"Not from me. Everything seems clear." Aden said, looking somewhat nervously at "Tristan"
Tavana:
"A few questions." The dragonborn flicks a claw at what appears to be Tristan. "Is there any way to disguise his appearance? We may be able to pass off these gauntlets, but there's little to no chance of subtlety in this endeavor if a passerby sees him. As to the city, I would assume there will be a guard. Besides them and this Silent Order of Mumblers, are there any other potential threats we should know about? Or perhaps a better question: is there anyone we are being asked to not kill?"
A quick shudder runs down the tendrils of scales that make up Saliak's 'hair' "And one final question - this change within Tristan. Is it permanent?"
Gargulec:
'Yes' Tristan spoke suddenly, stepping towards you, his armour grinding loudly with every move. His voice changed, as did his appearance, now being much lower and with some sort of eerie echo added to it. It was also very, very unsettling. 'The change is permanent and there is no way to undo it. My body has been done away, and my essence was bound within this armour. In a way, I am the first undead of the Army.'
He turned his gaze to the pool, still showing the Heaven's Peak, but said nothing more.
Malek Deneith:
- "Oh hello there Tristran, old friend, old buddy... how nice of you to drop in." - Ryltar greeted the reborn "paladin" then turned back to overlord with a more serious face - "I have a few questions: Do they have any reasons to expect us coming? Do they have any nonstandard means that could expose us, such as magical detection? Will my race cause us problems in there, and if so then is there some sort of magical disguise available for us, or shall I make do with the regular 'totally conspicuous hood and cloak' deal?"
Xander Morhaime:
"The catacombs have outgrown the city a long time ago. I'm quite sure if you look around enough you'll be able to find an entrance outside the city gates. I suppose if you wanted a disguise you could put him on a cart, cover him with a sheet and say you wanted to deposit him in the crypts, but I doubt subtlety will go far here. I certainly don't expect the priests to just let you walk in and smash the wards, especially as, to the best of my knowledge, they require constant upkeep."
"They always have strangers coming in with fresh bodies to drop off, so I doubt they'll pay much attention to you. To be on the safe side, though, I'd recommend not letting anyone who sees you enter the catacombs live. Aside from that, don't concern yourselves with the city. For now, at least."
