The Master and the Minion - IC Thread

<< < (77/86) > >>

Xander Morhaime:
Though Ma'kirr and Aden both landed sound blows on their intended targets, neither of them seemed quite willing to budge or fall over dead yet. And if that wasn't bad enough, the monks lurking in the back joined in the fun, breaking away from their duties to the wards inscribed all over the floor to summon up a healing light on the injured knights, healing most of their wounds.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)SK, could I request that, if you use Flurry of Blows in the future, you say who you aim it at and where you want that target moved?
Also, it appears your Flurry damage went up to 7.Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Malek Deneith:
Ryltar took three fast steps forward. With his left hand he threw a small vial of some substance towards one of the knights, while simultaneously drawing the crossbow with his right and trying to take a shot at the head monk.

Xander Morhaime:
While the vial shattered harmlessly on the knight's shield, the priest in the centre of the magical symbols was hit, and wounded quite badly by the look of things. In turn, one of the knights closed in to pen in the new threat and even landing a light blow on Ma'kirr.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)Ryltar leaves the cleric bloodied. A knight hits Ma'kirr for 4 damage (32 HP remaining).Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Gargulec:
Unflinchingly, Tristan strode towards the knights, leaving behind a faint, teal shimmer that soon faded. And then, when he was about to strike, blue light erupted around him, for a brief moment forming into a silhouette of a cloaked, faceless figure warping her arms around Tristan. This shape dissolved into pure light moments later, but the paladin's armor looked sturdier, all the cracks and seems glowing with inner strength.

'Surrender yourself, and you'll be granted a swift passage to other side' he uttered, bringing his weapon down on one of the knights.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)Move: to J10
Minor: Astral Splendour: until Tristan becomes bloodied, all attacks against him suffer a -2 penalty. He also sheds bright light.
Standard: Heedless Fury on I11, natural 1. Tristan takes -5 to all defences until the end of his next turn.

Xander Morhaime:
Tristan's assault did not go unnoticed, and one of the knights he passed managed to land a good blow on the paladin. While the radiance that surrounded him afterwards seemed to protect him from harm (for the moment), Ma'kirr had less luck in terms of evading the knights' blows, leaving her noticeably injured. As if that wasn't bad enough, the priest in the middle of the room had finally taken notice of the fight (no doubt thanks to Ryltar) and called in some healing magic of his own... enveloping himself and the knight previously targeted by Ryltar's poison. By the time the magical light faded, both looked as good as new.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)The cleric is no longer bloodied.
A knight hits Tristan with an opportunity attack for 7 damage (40 remaining).
A knight hits Ma'kirr for 11 damage (21 remaining).Spoiler (click to show/hide)
