With a grinding sound, Tristan brought his sword down upon the knight in front of him.

Ryltar's blow might not have looked immediately life-threatening, but a few moments later the knight slumped to his knees, then fell over with a gurgle. Tristan's blow also hit, but though his target was already looking quite injured, the knight still remained standing afterwards.

Saliak hopes his next swing will end the knight's resistance.

It was a sweet sound of silence as the monk fell down. Returning to the group, Ma'kirr whipped her spear into the nearest knights legs.
"I thought you guys would have finished them off already."

"Not quite, my dear cat." Aden said as he quickly scanned the quickly winding down battle,
"These guys are somewhat tough, but at the same time, I think we are safe for now."

Aden then carefully moves into a position where he can assist Tristan and then swings his sword at the knight he is flanking.

Saliak's blows hadn't quite succeeded at bringing down his target, but Ma'kirr's attacks left the fallen knight dripping red gore from gaps in his armour. He didn't look like he'd be getting back up any time soon.

Aden's blow also hit home, but did not make too much of an impression on his target.

Ryltar switched weapons once again, and sent a crossbow bolt at the wounded knight, but without success.

'You should not have fought us, knights'[/color]

Tristan advances, and strikes at the challenged knight.

"This has gone on long enough. May the pieces of your body find peace." Saliak's warhammer arcs through the air and with a ringing thud hits the tiled floor...after passing through the knight's body. Turning from the crumpled mess of bone and sinew, the dragonborn turns the attention of his destructive runes to the final enemy.

While Ryltar's and Tristan's attacks were well off the mark, the knights seemed to finally get their game on - and when Tristan gave them the opening, he was struck by two telling blows in quick succession. The badly injured knight even managed to land a third hit before Saliak's blow... splashed him over the chamber and any bystanders. Aden had a bit more luck evading the other knight's blow.

Continuing with her assault, Ma'kirr charged towards the remaining Knight. Darting from out behind Saliak, Ma'kirr swung her spear wildly in a series of vertical arcs. A grating clang however, interrupted her attack as she got the tip of he spear wedged in the floor by mistake.

Aden was starting to falter a bit. He could keep going, but for some reason, he was getting a bit out of tune with his battle-rythm. Because this time, he swung to try and hit the remaining knight, but is not confident the blow will strike

Ryltar fired another bolt, which again went wide of the target.

Tristan strikes at last remaining knight, hoping to at last finish this fight.
