Aden readied his Sword "So, we gonna fight?"

Saliak, deeply aware of the ambush on the stair case, peers around the room carefully before responding to the jibe from the apparent master of this tower. "You offer a retreat, but I suspect you would not honor such a request. Your words are meaningless, as your actions have already spoken. Say something worth hearing and we might respond better."

The warrior sprang into action, moving forward with remarkable speed. He skirted around the edge of the watery pit in the middle of the room and charged straight into your group, inflicting a heavy blow upon Tristan.

Minor Action: Rune of Mending on Tristran (he can spend a healing surge and gains 1 temp hp fromn Rune of Hope feat). Picking Rune of Destruction: Saliak and each ally in burst 5 get +2 power bonus to damage rolls until end of Saliak's next turn.
Destruction Runestate: Irrelevant as it's going to get changed.
Standard Action: Rune of Endless Fire on M6. Attack (1d20+11=28) vs AC. Hit: Fire and Radiant damage (2d10+7=18) and the target is blinded until end of Saliak's next turn. Miss: Half damage, no blinding. Effect: Until end of encounter Saliak gains +2 bonus to damage rolls, his attacks deal fire and radiant damage instead of their normal damage types, and every time his powers heal or give temp hp they heal/give 4 more.
Action Point - Standard Action: Word of Exchange on M6. Attack (1d20+11=26) vs AC. Hit: Fire and Radiant damage (1d10+9=12). Picking Rune of Protection: The target gets -2 penalty to all defenses until end of Saliak's next turn and next ally to hit him before end of Saliak's next turn gets +2 power bonus to AC until end of Saliak's next turn.

- "Blind enemy? I like this setup!" - Ryltar drew his rapier and spran up landing on Castellan's shoulders. He stabbed downwards, hitting some vital point judging by the scream of pain and swiftly jumped down, attempting a quick slash at Castllan's legs. When back on ground he followed up with third blow to their enemy.

'That was a foolish thing to do, Evil Lord. Your vile strength is no match to our powers of Light!' shouts Tristan, bringing his sword down. The blade glistened like a shard of ice, as it struck the black carapace of Castellan's armour.

'Avandra will guide our blades!'

Damage:     1d8+5 =11 and next ally to hit the Big Bad gets +3 temp. hit points.

The Castellan seemed to buckle under the force of your blows, but only for just a moment. Even through the flames shrouding his helmet after Saliak's blinding attack you could see the two points of light under the helmet flare up. "No! You will not best me so easily, upstarts! Flee and you might yet save your souls!"

The halberd came around in blind, sweeping blows, forcing you to keep your distance. The first sweep went over your heads, but the second time through the blade caught Tristan's side, biting in deep with a magical burning sensation, far different from simple poison or fire.

Your attacks leave the Castellan blinded, slowed, and bloodied... well, at least until his own turn, wherein he promptly loses the bloodied bit.
Then he hits Tristan for 12 damage (21 remaining, bloodied).
