Want: Health bonus and Armour bonus

We all love medpacks big and small and the health globes.  But in Doom, there exists that little thing that is most useful: Health bonuses and Armour bonuses.  They add tiny amounts (1% in each case), but they are ubiquitous.

Perhaps we can have this in DoomRL to vary things a little and to emulate more of stock Doom.

Can't they also boost health and armour over 100% up to 200%?anyway I would love to see this.

Yes they do.  And since all they add is one lousy percent each time, we can probably see more of these spammed in the levels.  ;-)

This is exactly what health/armor globes are for: They function exactly like a pack of such bonuses. Except they're handily stacked in one tile instead of being spreaded over the whole floor.

Game Hunter:
I agree that Small/Large Health Globes essentially account for packs of those blue flask things from DooM, especially since both can heal past 100%.

On the other hand, armor shards are pretty rare in DoomRL when compared to the original. Maybe the generation of armor could be toned down in exchange for higher occurrences of those yellow delights (say, half the rate of Large Globes). It's something to try out in a beta test, anywho.
