So the fun part came when on L72 I accidentally put on the Cybernetic armor I'd been lugging around hoping for Onyx pack. Oops. Had to dump Malek's armor, gothic armor, and a couple of red ABPs and play like super-masochist, really, seeing as losing armor would be death. Almost died trying to pick up a bulk mod on L75, actually found one and some shards on 78. Nuclear BFG meant I could get to a side of the map and very slowly clear everything including all corpses (except formers, which don't seem to ever go away...). I had one close call where I got down to 0 armor and thought i was done for, but I got a berserk pack and found shards the next level. After that I was more careful and got up to 200% and stayed > 100% for the rest. Pretty tense!
Monsters like to hang out in the middle of the map if possible. This makes it like shooting fish in a barrel with MAc and a rocket launcher / BFG for corpses.
One pain elemental cave. I phased the hell out of there.
I hate Nightmare version monsters. So quiet, it's creepy.
New high score... five times the previous one.
Arch-Vile rank, one more platinum badge acquired. Time for... Centurial Diamond?? No.
