Somehow I actually expected to get more uniques, but as you can see I didn't find any for 50 levels (searched every "There's something really valuable here" one despite generally just running to the stairs). Also I was too much of a pussy to equip the Necroarmor because I was afraid it'd drain me to (near) death with a few unlucky armor destroying hits. In hindsight, I highly doubt that would've happened though. Plus the complete Phaseshift set with the ability to walk over lava seemed a lot more helpful than a few more points of damage reduction.

finding those two pistols wasn't enough to make you switch to a pistol build?  Only TH would be wasted, of your early picks. and even that might interact with the GCB.  Whizkid doesn't pull its weight with two unique pistols, but you probably don't want the AFJ on at all times anyway.
(incidentally, I'd start (SoB -> Fin x2 -> SoB -> TH -> MAc) with the WKs inserted whenever I have mods, as early as L4)

Congrats on the run though, maintaining discipline throughout Ao100 can be tricky, as can the later groups.  And the Dragonslayer!  I'm still in the dark on that, found it twice, carried it never.

Well, I had already thrown the first pistol away when I found the second.. but yeah, other than that a pistol build probably would've been a good choice assuming I kept the first one. At least it would've been interesting to see how powerful one could get. I was mainly going for ammochain to avoid running out of bullets/cells, killed myself that way often enough in normal games and didn't even want to imagine how pissed I'd be if that happened somewhere in the last levels. Plus I just hate ammo management.

About the later groups, if I hadn't found the Dragonslayer its very much possible I'd have gotten stupid and ran headfirst into a pack of Viles etc and NOT survived thinking "I'll need all of those ten medpacks later, let's just keep firing with 10% health".
