You could actually build a whole game around that idea. Not just an Angel, an entire game.

I thought about the same and I named it Angel of NonSense

The idea was to play as former and look on the level for armor and weapon, when monsters arent aware of you.
After some turns , like AoRA, here comes boss - Doomguy, and starts killing monsters and you. Your task obvious)

There should be "cursed" boots and another "cursed" weapon. You know how you can't take off the Cybernetic armor, you can't get rid of the Berserker armor or the Dragonslayer? There should be "cursed" boots and a "cursed" shotgun or something.

There should also be a "cursed" suit! Here's what I was thinking:

If you found three pieces to the cursed suit (a cursed armor, weapon, and boots), and wore them all at the same time, you could swap only ONE out for something else when you have all three pieces on. If you have only two, you can't remove either of them unless you find the other piece and wear it. So, you could swap out your cursed armor for something else, but you'll still be wearing the cursed boots and weapon. You know what I mean?

Why not make a "tactical suit"?

Like, if you wear tac armor, boots, shotgun, and rocket launcher, you'll get a +1 protection to armor and boots?

That's a good idea. We already have a set of artifacts and two sets of exotics. Tac suit - a set of assemblies.

BTW, is the gothic armour set actually good for anything? I only managed to get both pieces recently and... it was funny. I was thinking that maybe the lack of mobility would be offset by some bonus to resistances or armour (great for entrenched technicians, I think) but I didn't notice anything like that.

Yes. When you wear the Gothic Armor AND the Gothic Boots, you become immune to knockback and you can't move. You're like a turret. I think that the message is something like "You can't move!" or something.

you become completely resistant to knockback and gain an additional armour bonus (+4, I think)

Actually, it's not only that you become immune to knockback. It's more like you're some kind of immovable fortress with enough dakka to obliterate whatever's near you.

Correct. Oh, and what exactly does the phaseshift suit do?

You float, so you don't touch acid or lava, so you are not damaged by them.
I'd say that phaseshift set is much better than gothic.
At least you don't need to equip part of it in the middle of combat to get protection and uneqiup it to move further.

Scramble Soda
One drink of this and who knows where you'll wake up.
Fully restores HP and repairs Armor... but causes random teleporting (every 20 seconds, you randomly teleport to one tile within basic vision range (that is, before light-amp or cateye))
