As I said, In the hellgate and ONLY in the hellgate a homing phase kit will warp you to the square it spawns you at, normal phase kits work as normal. I think it's a glitch but it works wonders in a pinch. I'm editing that post now...

The Mortuary is not as scary as people make it out to be, it's just a very large vile pack and I had a reusable phase kit. Just take it slow and use all the standard tricks.

I was just about to post an AoMr mortem myself but since this is almost identical I think I'll pass :P I didn't find the mortuary all that hard, took out three Viles at the center before phasing to a corner and starting the biggest graveyard dance ever.

Only got 99% total though due to visiting the vaults and not being able to clear the rightmost one after running out of phase devices. If only I'd had the Jackal. Or an invulnerability globe to utilize Angel Arm. Also thought I'd screwed up Lava Pits when the level name didn't turn green and spent a few hundred turns waiting at the stairs for some hiding enemy to come into view but apparently killed all of them after all.

I too tend to find the Arachnotron caves relatively easy, mainly thanks to the lack of Arch-Viles.

Eh, didn't mean to come here just to toot my own horn :P Good job, especially without any unique weaponry.
