Okay ... I'd been cutting my teeth on Ao100 runs on M ... and it was getting to be brutally difficult, vile packs almost every level, not to mention the 'hidden fun stuff' ... which wasn't nearly as bad as the viles ...
I figured, if Ao100 is this insane on M, why not try to try a standard H game?
I figured I would die a lot as I learned to transition from M to H. I didn't. Not only that, I did it with my
favorite build ... a build that I was still testing, and had no idea whether or not it would be effective at higher difficulties, or if I were just cheesing it on easy games.
Well, I present to you all, humbly, my first attempt at a standard run on Hurt Me Plenty.

Before him 98 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
70 of those were killed.
And 11 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.
Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
Is he immortal? 17 souls claim to have killed him...
2 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
13 killed the bastard and survived.
2 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

Yeah, yeah ... I know ... I wasn't sure what I was thinking with the combat translocator, especially when I had phase devices to spare.
I know I'm not pulling insane stuff like going for Plat and Diamond badges, it just felt really, really good to complete H on my first try. And have the
screenshot to prove it.
Of note, I found two assault shotguns early on, which did the vast majority of my heavy lifting through the run ... I dropped one pretty late in, and the other on level 24, knowing that it wouldn't be much use in a fight with the Cyberdemon ... not that the combat translocator was helpful ...
