More of another stealth message that avoids talking about the TRUE EVIL. Save the messages in its section and the unusual map appearance, there's no explicit proof of JC.
Also, I would appreciate it if someone has a good hellgate strategy. I almost died in there. :P
Fortunately, Hellgate has a simple strategy that varies only in certain challenges: remember that you can blow up walls. Without some kind of launcher, it's a matter of releasing the first wave and running (tactic change) to cover: I tend to shoot down the door on the right and use that side, since you have a lot more room for whatever happens.
If Bruisers are your concern, note that their AI is absolute: they WILL chase you without fail. Use this to your advantage. While you might not have the experience to intuit such movement, all you really need to know most of the time is that enemies tend to move left/right before up/down.
They give you a lot of rockets in that level, may as well use them.
EDIT: Whoops! Appearantly it's a YAVP after all, not a YASD. Yay!
This actually USED to be a bug: dying at HF meant no win.
