And here it begins all over again, a new doomguy in a new (and greatly changed!) version of DoomRL. Like all my first games, this one was a pistol build, but unlike most of my pistol games, I went for not MGK. The results are surprising -- I can kill things a little more, and that instant reload thing that MGK provides is not really missed, since I can take a couple of levels of Rel to clean that up. I was sort of going for DM towards the end so that I can fight Cybie, but the Trigun in the vaults made me thank the RNG in gratitude and just beelined towards Level 25. And then, YAVP. =D
It's going to be a looong time before I reclaim my Br General rank from ground zero. =P
