Guess the scythe's out of the bag. I've already picked it up twice myself (the first was unsuccessful because I didn't realize that the health loss was permanent) but I figured it'd be a while before someone else actually met the conditions to find it. I wouldn't have even IMAGINED that it would be as a result of an AoB run.

Holy crap, dude. WELL DONE. The hard part of any melee run is the early-game, and somehow you pulled it off 100%! What would you say your zerk:not ratio was? (Like, were you zerking half the time, almost all of the time, rarely?) Oh, right, and I also forgot the part where you didn't take master trait. THE MAN DID THIS WITHOUT VAMPYRE.

Seriously, this is incredible.

My mind has been similarly blown by the lack of Vampyre!  :o  Perhaps it's a sign that I'm using the wrong strategy in my berserk games, since I try to get Vampyre as early as possible.

Regardless, congrats!  This is an amazing achievement!

To be honest, Vampyre's awesomeness mostly comes from it free-riding on the back of Badass's awesomeness.
