I had Ammochain up to level 48 and I died from holding down the key :(

Accuracy wasn't an issue because Sniper Weapon Pack = autohit. Found it around dlevel 10.

EDIT: It didn't apply in my run, but the laser rifle is a common exotic which negates the MAc weakness

Battleguy:
The added accuracy from an assualt rifle helps too, at least it would for a while.
