[0.9.9.2] Berserk Speed & blaster recharge rate

This may be as intented but...

During an Ao100 run using the blaster, I had my fire speed at 0.20. Everything worked as normal until I picked up a berserk pack and then my blaster would empty really quicky despite the relatively fast recharge. As far as I know, berserk does not increase attack speed of ranged weapons. I had to move around or wait for berserk to clear and the issue cleared.

EDIT: After chatting with thelaptop - this is probably related to the other berserk mode time distortion issues, we've been seeing lately

I'm uncertain if this is intended or not, myself. One could justify that because you're moving so fast you have to deal with some of the consequences.

Waiting on response from the God Hand before we move forward with this issue.

I'd eventually assumed that the speed upgrade due to Berserk Pack was the game actively halving action costs (which is why they don't show up in move/fire/etc speeds). Since regeneration works at 1% per action, this means that berserking only regens at half the normal rate. If this is what is happening I don't think it's a bug, but if it has to do with sub-turn limitations then there should be something to rectify it (either increase turn resolution or force a minimum speed possible).

Actually Berserk speed works a lot differently then movement speed. Berserk gives you back "action points". Hence with a low enough speed on berserk you actually... move forward in time D:

An animation-related bug: if you're able to "skip" a turn while Berserked, you can fire (lets say rapid-fire since it lasts long to really notice) and then quickly switch to one of the various info screens, and the shots will appear on that screen.

It's a separate bug that (I think) will be fixed by next version. Basically, if you're holding all the mods needed to do, say, double high power, then you're allowed to do it.

Yes, I did... it made me think that it's a shame we don't have traits that let you shoot while running (or diving to cover).

It was possible, though a bug that has now been fixed, as previously stated.

Back to the matter at hand. Assuming that Berserk can actually make your character move forward in time, I suppose we should tweak it to behave slightly differently at super fast speeds.
