I believe you can get around this for the short term by using the config.lua file.

There's a value in there to set a default name.

But I guess Ander means that one should be able to WRITE longer names in the game, not just using only one name that's in the config file.

Oh, I understood. I was just letting him know that there was a temporary solution until a new version with that feature comes out.
