I was so perfect. I could shoot down anything within one second. I could blast special levels to pieces with BFGs to spare. I could punch through walls in a couple of never-ending volleys. I could shrug off mancubi barrages or I could clear entire floors without even being touched. I could heal, skip levels, anything. I had everything.

Except decent footwear.

Sigh.

Homing, sure. And I also would have survived if I'd used a large med-pack, immediately shot the revenant down, used my envirosuit pack, or (I think) stepped further into the lava out of the revenants view. Instead I underestimated the damage I could take in one turn vs my 80 maxhp and thought I'd sensibly step out of the lava first.

At least I earned a new silver badge?
