This was my first decent attempt in a while. Skipped the Arena, which kills off most of my DoomGuys, and proceeded smoothly. But during the entire run, not one power mod spawned. Plenty of bulks, but not the pack needed to build a chainsword. But I still decided to fight JC. Fucking smart move there. >.<

About all I can suggest (since I can't tell whether you were or not from the mortem) is holding on to multiple knives in the event of barrels.  Other than that, you've got a good handle on this one.

Though I will say, you're gutsier than I was when doing this, even before taking JC into account.  (The only special level I hit was Vaults, and only for an easy bronze at the time.)

So close!  That must've been frustrating!  :|  I'm surprised you didn't go for Vampyre trait; I almost always get that in melee games.

I used to go for Vampyre in melee runs, but I prefer the damage boost of SoB.
