From my point of view: MVamp is still better. Running in AoB is mostly a protective feature for not getting killed until in melee ranges AND protective mode against demons/HKs in melee before getting the chainsaw. The protection and decreased movespeed of berserk state make up for all this pretty neatly. Moreover, if you are running when entering berserk via trait, the state will persist- and there is little noticeable difference. IMHO, the problem with MBm is the fact that MVamp has better preq traits- passive defence is more powerful and useful in AoB and better effect, that makes up for the biggest problem in AoB, that is constantly decreasing health. While I believe that your fix may indeed work for less YAAMist games, in order to increase survivability, I would not even consider taking it then.
