The only reason I can think of for the berserk message after every action is to keep the player from 'remembering' what happened recently via the past messages command because their mind's too clouded with bloodlust. I don't have anything against the message, I just think the frequency could be toned down.

Yeah. Thematically it's kind of nice that you are CONSTANTLY RAGING RAAAH STILL RAGING RAAAH NOT DONE RAGING YET RAAAH, but add it to list of reasons a brevity mode would be nice for experienced players.
