-- General ---------------------------------------------------

Before him 39 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 32 of those were killed.
1 of those was killed by something unknown.

And 4 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
Is he immortal? 2 souls claim to have killed him...
1 killed the bastard and survived.
1 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

--------------------------------------------------------------

With the gravity boots, two levels of HR, and the Necro Armor my move speed peaked at 0.06 seconds per move, 0.07 with the Angelic Armor... I just kept popping out of cover against the Cyberdemon and he never even got a shot off.

Those sniper and firestorm packs went unused, sadly, but I found them so close to one another that I was afraid I had used up all my luck early on.

Honestly I'm jealous. The time I got the gravity boots I wasn't able to mod them so I only got a speed of .08. Someday I hope for HRx3, gravity phaseshift boots and AOP phaseshift armor, but I think that is probably a little too greedy.

I'm starting to think that the gravity boots might be the best use of the nano pack. Although I haven't tried any of the master assemblies, I'm having a hard time thinking of something better than all that speed. Either way, having a move speed that low is a lot of fun.

I thought the modified assemblies bug had been deep-sixed.

As for master assemblies... nanomachic BFG 9000 - which has the advantage even if you don't get a nano pack for it, the setup (BFG 9000 (B3)) is worthwhile.

Any BFG 9000 (Bx) setup is worthwhile. There are exactly three uses for bulk mods, in descending order of usefulness.
1.) Slap 'em on a BFG (useful as many times as you can do it)
2.) Slap 'em on a red (or better) armor (useful once, less useful twice)
3.) Slap 'em on the chainsaw (useful once, the rest of the slots are better served by trying to turn it into a double chainsaw)

I thought the modified assemblies bug had been deep-sixed.
The unusual way to go about it was fixed, but there IS a new way to modify assemblies. I used this fact to build some power-modded speedloaders for this UV win.

Actually, I'm worried about the possibility of agility-modded phaseshift gravity boots...that would give +105%, which is more than the game should technically be able to handle.

It was upgraded to 6d6 damage in 0.9.9.3, making it basically a fast-loading missile launcher you can rocket-jump with.

Huh. That is good. And considering that bulk mods seem to be the most common after agility mods, it's got a good chance of actually being created, too.

Gravity boots move +80% regardless of the base item.

Also, gravity boots are probably too strong. But then, nano mods are too strong in general.

But then again, nano mods aren't too common, so I think you should make the most you can out of them.

So jealous... I saw one Nano Pack since 0.9.9.3 and it freaking was during AoP with absolutely nothing even remotely usefull to put it on the whole level.

Looking back at this, I realized that I did clear the Mortuary but I never got the silver (or was it gold?) badge for it... Is it because I used a nuke?

That's right - nuking won't give you Reaper Gold

This is also generally true for any badges relating to the clearance of special levels.
