"Nuked" after killing Cyberdemon

Rook:
I was finishing an AoB run, and finally made it to the Cyberdemon. I had 32HP left when I finished him with the chainsaw, and he exploded, the game congratulated me for defeating him, and showed the usual ending, but my mortem shows that I nuked myself, and the game was counted as a loss on level 25.

I'm not sure if it matters, but I did use a nuke earlier in the game accidentally, but I survived.

I was using 0.9.8.5 under WinXP
