Has there ever been a roguelike other than DoomRL made where killing random wildlife isn't a major part of both the gameplay and fun included in the game? And more to the point, when the previous part is true, did they all turn out to be awesome?

Actually, I think this covers all decent rpgs. Maybe as an allegory of the human condition or something.

I'll keep thinking on this.......
