Need some enlightment on Medical Armor/Powerarmor

Anyone know how useful is Medical Armor/Powerarmor....
I don't seem to see it heal me for 25%.....or how can it's ability be activiated?
General Patton:
What it does is set you to exactly 25% if you are at less than 25%. I would like to know exactly when that effect activates. I've been contemplating an Iro5, TaN3, SoG5 build with Cybernano Medical Armor and a blaster. I'm expecting the ability to activate at the start of your turn, which means spamming .1 second blaster shots forever will prevent you from being hit twice before you get healed.

Frankly, medical armor and medical powerarmor are currently the most worthless pieces of special shit you can find. Nothing more to it. I'd say, just leave it alone in the dark unless you're doing extremely bad on armor and you can always use any spare one.

Here's your enlightenment: It sucks.
I use Med. Powerarmor if I get it because 5% more movespeed penalty compared to Red isn't that bad, and it might kick in when I need it, but other than that...

Huh. I was wondering about this for ages as well. I guess it's not that useful?
Plus it can't be modded, making it even more useless :P
