Gaslamp RTD - OOC/Q&A

<< < (5/7) > >>

S.K. Ren:
Look, if you're doing a really simple action and have bonuses up the wazoo and get a 16, Ill tack on a slight negative repercussion. For more normal actions you dont need to worry about it. Over exertion isn't strictly a bad thing but it just isn't as good as a normal success. Also the rules in this thread were just to give a rough idea about how RTDs generally work since no one seemed to have experience with them here. The rules in the main thread are the ones we are using for the game.

Question: What do your colour codes mean, and how do we know which guard we are entangled with at the moment?  Specifically, did I crush the guard that I landed on in a heap?

A:
White = Unwounded
Green = Barely wounded
Lime Green = Light Wounds
Yellow = Moderate wounds
Orange = Heavy wounds
Red = Critical wounds
Black = Dead or will be imminently

Also I'll use abbr to add notes to the NPCs and players. You should be able to highlight one of the guards and see "Restrained" pop up.

Also, for further clarification. If you roll a failure on your roll I may simply omit the result of your action or have you take a non-action if the failure is inconsequential. If you don't see your action resolved it probably means you failed the roll,

Point of information: You keep spelling "Twizmer" as "Twismer".  =P

S.K. Ren:
Oops. Ill be sure to fix that.
