[0.9.9.4 winxp] scout doesn't see stairs on angel of red alert

Not sure if it is intended but I recently played a couple of games as the scout class on angel of red alert challenge and I never know where the stairs are like I would playing any other game as a scout.

Working as intended. Also true of Angel of Pacifism, I believe.

Intended - would make AoRA too easy.

It's even hinted in the challenge description - "Warning, the areas can't be scouted!".

However, the Scout also can't hack tracing data into computer maps on AoRA, either. Is this also intended? It's not really implied by the description. Seems like it just had all its special abilities taken away or something.

Aoi:
Aren't Techs the one who have the ability to hack tracking data?
