Request for simple usability and comfort features

How about a retry mode, which starts the exact same game, challenge, name, traits, etc. over again? Especially for difficult challenges.

How about a chance to Esc backwards in the selection screens when starting a new game?
* Difficulty selection <- Class selection
* Class selection <- Trait selection (skipping past name screen since Esc there just chooses a blank name)
I've lost count of the number of times I've chosen the wrong class by mistake and had to shift-Q the game to fix my error...

I second this. It's a bit irksome right now.

Coloring out-of-sight items.
I dislike holding which of those carets are health globes and which are armor shards in my memory. Computer maps prove that coloring out-of-sight items doesn't confuse players about how far they can see.

I would have to say the number 2 from the OP would be really really nice. Also, on the topic of wait times, maybe it should be the minimum of your possible actions (fire, move, reload). That might be a bit unbalanced for pistoleros though...
