After a bit of fumbling around with Scouts and Technicians, I finally managed a decent run (all of my previous characters were killed within the first 6 levels) just to be killed by a ninja Manc. That felt really bad. Highlights include: Hell Champion Medal (fuck yeah), laser rifle on level 5 in a vault, onyx armor on level 7 in another vault, almost no shotgun use after the Arena (very uncharacteristic for me) until I assembled the focused double shotty, about ten technical mod packs (balance the mod packs a bit please, technicals spawn way too often, taking spots from everything else), constant ammo shortage due to prioritizing weapons and consumables (why I needed one of each kind of weapon, I may never know) and being a dumbass and using up all my healing at The Wall because I wanted a good shot.
I've learned that the Technician is an amazing tank, but like all tanks, suffers from lack of mobility. After I assembled the assault rifle, there were levels where I could just stand in place and shoot at everything that came into sight, only stopping when I realized they broke my armor. That's why the onyx armor was such a blessing. Hell, even the Shambler was basically "point and shoot" and that guy killed more of my characters in the previous version than all other enemies combined.
