[0.9.9.4 WinXP] Assault Rifle + Firestorm doesn't work.

In the eyes of the Firestorm a rapid weapon is one which fires at least 3 shots per turn. This is for balance, because for a two shot weapon two extra shots would be OP.

How many two-shot chainfire weapons are there? It seems a little arbitrary, but I guess doubling the firepower of a weapon is a little overkill.

A firestorm modded assault rifle would have been great, though...

My thoughts exactly!  :)  I wish I'd discovered this thread sooner, because I just tried and failed to create a Firestorm-modded Assault Rifle today.  :(

So, if I get Triggerhappy, the Firestorm will work?  (I know TH works on the Assault Rifle because I used it in a previous game)

No.  The firestorm mod just looks at the weapon's base stats, it doesn't know anything about Triggerhappy.
