So, can some kind soul tell me how I possibly could have gotten out of this one? What you don't see are the 5 large med-packs they already chewed through. I ended up on the far side because I used a phase device...I only found two the entire game. :-(
To tell the truth, I started this game two weeks ago and didn't touch it until now. Was pleasantly surprised to see how good it was going. Sniper-pack Plasma Rifle is pwn. Barons whimpered as their acid-shots uselessly bounced off my Oynx Armor while they were reduced to jelly, and I laughed at Commandos' far-inferior plasma rifles. Of course, all this sort of nullified my EE, but hey.
My lack of assembly knowledge didn't make Scavenger too useful....in fact, as soon as I got the Sniper Pack, I should have went for Entrenchment. But like I said, I didn't really remember the goal of this build...
Moral of the story: Without proper resistances, even indestructible level 4 armor is useless by late-game.
Any tips?
