Unholy Cathedral vs. this build: can it be done and how

Well, essentially. I got an invul. boost, went down, and used the Angel Arm alt. reload. I had cleaned out everything up until that point, but I only got the LS. Maybe an actual nuke does something different, but I heard that you can only use melee to get the AS. That's why I wondered about using the Arena Master's Staff or shockwave packs. Just a few minutes ago, I gave myself a wristache getting it down to ~60% HP and then goofed up by walking through the lava.

My actual goal is to get all 25 diamond badges and see what the reward there is. I imagine this'll be even more of an ordeal when I start dealing with "Nightmare!" time limits and using only pistols and stuff. Oh well.

Also if I were better at math I'd try and figure out if a person could take out the Angel by somehow looping and running around those columns in the second part of the cathedral instead of going all the way outside.

I took out the Angel without Brute using a very fast movespeed and attack speed.  I stood 2 tiles away and waited, if he took one step I'd get two tiles away again and keep trying.  But if he took 2 steps I could usually attack and move away before he got to act again.  This was AoMC with a ripper so it didn't take very long :), but a piercing chainsaw will do OK also.  Make sure you have some medpacks for mistakes.
