[N|AoPc|23%|8|YASD] You want me to what now?
« on: October 17, 2011, 10:28 »

Edit: Wrong sub-forum, oops! <- Thankies.

Surprisingly, I think this was my best (highly unsuccessful) AoPc runs.
I can probably thank all the berserk packs that ended up lasting about 3 or so levels.

Oh, and thanks infighting, you gave me a level! :D

Also, you want me to what?!

16 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 13 of those were killed.
1 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual.

 2 souls destroyed the Cyberdemon...
2 killed the bastard and survived.

Though to be honest, TaN is probably the best trait here anyway. Imps barely did 6-10% damage per shot when coupled with the blue armor you start with.
Of course that's with a marine.

Random question: Is Int 2 nerfed on AoPc? When I use it, I get some sort of mediocre Cateye like increase of only 2 spaces or something small like that.

Moved it for ya.

Int(2) was nerfed completely, not just for AoPc. It works like before, except that the range of enemies is limited to within three units of distance beyond your vision (however that may end up modified). Most of the time, this is still more than enough to take advantage of enemy positions are in order to attack them. For AoPc, it's not quite as good: on the other hand, your objective in AoPc is finding the stairs, not finding where the fewest enemies are, so I don't think it adversely affects it by much. (Not to mention you can pick it up at clvl2 with a Scout.)
