262 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 212 of those were killed.
4 of those were killed by something unknown.
18 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual.
And 12 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

 16 souls destroyed the Cyberdemon...
2 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
14 killed the bastard and survived.

Have to admit, I totally didn't expect this to work out, but the good breaks just kept coming. :-) Found a ridiculous 3 or 4 exotics on one level, overall two duelist armors, a phaseshift, phaseboots...good stuff. The only thing I didn't get to snag was the Supershotgun.

Pretty hardfought (maybe it worked out because I just finished AoI & AoLt) the whole way through, lots of careful planning with medpacks and a few times where I just walked on out of the level. Forgot how much more, fair, shall we say, MFa makes Archviles...by forgot I mean literally forgot how to dodge them until 3 or 4 levels before the end. :-( Tactical Shotgun and Focused Double turned out to be a pretty good pair. Tactical for the corners and Focused for dodge-and-shoot...though again, I didn't figure this out until way late.

Most tense moment? Level 24 starts off with a mob of zombies and crates. I'm gleefully firing my Focused Double Shotgun into them, a Revenant shows up so I move around a box. And out of NOWHERE, three zombies raise up and two Archviles show up on EITHER side of me. Now I'm pondering how much it would suck if they end my run this close to the end, but I'm so pissed off (and confident I can probably take Cybie without even getting hit) I decide they gotta die...despite the HPD. Two or three large medpacks later + some artful dodging and a beautiful Focused blind fire, I win. Hoo rah, Archies. Wouldn't have been possible without Fireangel, though.

On the whole, interesting experience. AoPu, AoI, & AoLt were all very different experiences. In AoI I couldn't take any risks since any mistake is your last, while AoLt made me think about the big picture--not just health, but weapons, armor, ammo, all in short supply. But I thought AoPu required the most careful playing. This run made me realize how much of my playstyle is based on luck--stumbling across a Large Health Globe or just a lot of Smalls, or getting the ultimate sloppy play-encourager, a Berserk or Invul Sphere. Had to put quite a lot of effort into this one, which is why I went with MFa, my best build.

An excellent run all the way around! Now that I'm a Captain, time to start going for some of the golds.
