I tried a out AoOC because I had a few minutes before dinner and I lacked confidence in my ability to complete it. How wrong was I!
After I kind of realized I was going to be able to make it all the way down, I was hoping to get 100%, but was not able to: on level 5 there was a vile paired with a revenant, but it was across an acid river which I couldn't cross. After the R scored a few good hits on me, I had to give up and trudge on.
At the final battle, I managed to get off two rounds of the BFG and a LOT of rockets, but I ran out of health packs, and my armor was eating me alive. I knew the spiderdemon was close so I managed to squeeze off a few shotgun rounds, but it was no use really. The end was near, but thankfully some other thoughtful marine decided to bring a nuke into the bowels of hell, one that I was able to set in time!
