My next attempt, and it went even better - until I found the Dragonslayer and dropped a nuke on it, forgetting about the acid...

And the RNG was being really nice to me, giving me an early Combat Pistol, Anti-Freak Jackal, and phaseshift boots that I forgot to pick up because I thought I already had them.

Next game, same build and I get a vault with Combat Pistol and -Shotty  on level 2!
This can only end badly...
