[Solved][0.9.9.5] Scout shows downstairs in Dis
« on: January 12, 2012, 21:41 »
I was playing a scout speedrun, and I noticed the downstairs showed up when I entered the level, but disappeared immediately. I was blazing through all the messages, etc. so I'm not sure exactly when they disappeared (first move maybe? Or maybe the messages prompted me to continue in the middle of the damned city of Dis message?)

Stair-sense is disabled when you enter Dis, but depending on how messages get queued up and whatnot, its plausible that you could get a glimpse of the stairs before the stair-sense actually gets turned off.  It should be possible to make this more robust.

It did this in previous versions too, with the stairs showing on the Cyberdemon level for a split second on scout games.

I made a change that should fix this.
