This is the first UV run I have completed in the new version. This time round I was gunning for the Gatekeeper diamond, which is more of a luck based badge making it probably the easiest diamond badge to get. I basically saved the invulnerability globes I found on the levels before the anomaly and the tower of babel, and used them to complete the levels without taking damage. Only problem was my invulnerability ran out halfway through the anomaly, so I had to shoot in to nothingness hoping to locate the last few enemies on the map, before cleaning them up. I found the nuclear plasma rifle halfway through the game, bulk modded it and effectively got unlimited ammo. My ordinary plasma rifle was used in tricky situations etc. Overall a good run. One more platinum badge to colonel rank :D , then hopefully I can go for the strongman diamond, which is another easier badge to get. After which I would have to play on N! to progress, which would  be fun...

Angel of Max Carnage makes Gatekeeper Diamond (and the harder difficulties in general) much easier. Shooting into the dark is much more likely to work, and enemies are much more likely to die before they get into a position to hit back.

The fact that they do maximum damage if they do hit you is dwarfed by the fact that you lose the badge if you're hit, no matter how little damage they'd do.

Double this with Cateye to have enough time to shoot anything before they see you, triple this with a lucky phase on Phobos Anomaly (well, not that lucky - the chance to phase into a good position to the left or right of the first spawning is about 50%, and a good position can happen even if you phase to the bruiser bros' room), quadruple this with Dodgemaster for Cybie - and GK Diamond is yours in no time.
Note that GK Diamond does _not_ get GK Platinum as well, due to its N! requirement.
