[Fixed][0.9.9.6] Death by lava = "Killed by a soldier"

When you die in lava, the mortem will say that you were "Killed by a soldier". Is this known?

This has been fixed in repo: suicides are now displayed correctly in the hall of fame and mortem.

But in the map you can see there are no one nearby to shoot me!

The odd message is a separate bug with the message buffer, the oldest message in the buffer is presented as the most recent in the mortem. As by default the buffer holds 100 messages this can cause some true oddies, I've had a message about being hit by a shambler that I already killed.

Is it just me or does this version feel alot more beta than normal?

Just remembered.
While in 0.9.9.5 commiting a stupid suicide via Q-Y generates a mortem and adds to the death counter, while on 0.9.9.6 it doesn't. At least in graphical version.
I consider this as bug.

Q-Y has never produced a mortem, dieing due to your actions produced the stupid suicide message.

That's how I remember things as well. I'll check later tonight, just to be safe, but the game doesn't "end" if you prematurely quit the game, thus it can't know to create a mortem.
