[0.9.9.6] Kill-counter really messed up.

This is what my kill count is after 2 games in 0.9.9.6 . First game i played a rapid-fire build, second was AoSg. Didn't kill anything with melee. Could be the rocket kills getting counted as melee, as i'm sure i rocketed the bruisers.

Would you mind posting the mortems for those two games?  It might help glean insight into the problem.  Or at least, let us check the kill count numbers and compare the player.wad with the mortem counts.
