Playstation Doom/Doom 64 Soundtracks?

PFL:
Would it be possible to have alternative soundtracks for the game?  I'd love to play with the spooky tunes from the console ports of Doom. :)

You can edit soundtracks in yourself via the music.lua or musicmp3.lua files: all you have to do is provide the music and the pathnames to them.

I myself high some really high-quality MP2s for both DooM and DooM II, which are quite nicely positioned next to the Sonic Clang tracks.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm a complete noob with these sorts of things so I didn't just want to dive in and start editing scripts.

I'm going to edit them later today I think.

Would anyone else be interested in my edited scripts and soundtracks?  Would I be able to provide links or is linking to soundtracks frowned upon? :)

Brewtal Legend:
It's definitely possible. I use the psx doom soundtrack myself as well as the psx sound effects.

PFL:
Yeah, I got it working last night.  I just renamed the corresponding PSX mp3's to match the extant Lua file.  I must say I love the atmosphere of these tracks.  They really compliment the slower, creepier pace of the turn-based gameplay.

I'm very happy now. Thanks for the replies. :)
