HexaDoken:
Are theese savegames? If so, yes, I tend to save myself very often, since my computer tends to give out a BSOD randomly for no reason. So I generated a habit of saving almost each level to ensure that I have a backup in case my computer decides to mess me up.
Also, a protection against ultimately stupid deaths like "pressed Left key while lavawalking too much times and couldn't stop when envirosuit ran out". Happens really often in Lava pits.
Klear:
Hmm... maybe I should do that as well. I've managed to remove the flash I was playing from during the game several times now, once ruining a promising Ao100 run.

Savescumming.
This is a part of a game. Some people have problems with lava, others have problems with Hell Arena, Mortuary, or w/e.
HexaDoken:
I know.
I do not savescum unless I die due to REALLY stupid reason, like mentioned above, or something like a mancubus coming out of nothingness and one hit killing me at 100% health without even giving me a turn to react. Or unless I am frustrated really badly.
I take permadeath as a part of roguelikes. It adds a bit of gamble(should I dare to clear the mortuary?), proves some kind of "determination test", and makes me fear things BADLY. I like fearing things badly.
But I still keep a backup save in case of a major messup.

In other words, you do not savescum unless you savescum :P .
And personally I am frustrated almost always - but that not an excuse, dammit.
