Seriously though, he's crazy loud. Just listen for him, and when he starts to get close, spray the area until you get a hitreg. Then keep shooting.

OT: How do you kill the Cyberdemon with a pistol without dodgemaster? I mean, how is it even remotely possible? He chews through pillars like no tomorrow, so no cornershooting, and you can't possibly keep sniping at him from distance cause he's got a maphack too.

Get stupid lucky and have beserk/invuln/lava armor when going on.

OR: Use Enviro Suits, dual pistols, powerful traits, then dodge around. Even without dodgemaster (and a movement speed that isn't diddly piss) you can dodge a high percentage of the rockets.

Well if you picked Entrenchment you should chainfire or it is useless..
Also it is much better to pick EE than HR in such a situation. I bet you had LOTS of misses and 15% dodge didn't help much(and dodge just doesn't work with entrechment at the same time).

Cyberdemon is a boss so it is only natural that you can't kill him without several medpacks stocked before you came to him. Same about cells.

You have bulk modded your chaingun and also you have technical mod pack. So you could assemble fireproof(fireproof red is even better) armor. With this armor and entrenchment your fire resistance would be 60%(85%!) and killing Cyberdemon wouldn't be any problem at all.

Also you could take cover and unload your bfg9000 and continue to fire with plasma rifle. And thats much more damage.
