I was posting this to understand, why doesn't the location of the down stairs show if you choose Scout? According to the description it implies that you can find the stairs on any given level, but they don't show up when I am starting or going from a down stairs, this bugs me on my Angel of Pacifism run.  Is it a bug?

Scout's stairsense doesn't work on Angel of Darkness, Angel of Red Alert or Angel of Pacifism because it's a little overpowered in these. Pacifism because you can effectively get DM then be invincible as you dash for the stairs, and Red Alert because it completely defeats the point.

Well i am sure that scout's stairsense didn't work on AoD before but now it works. Don't know is it bug or intended change.
